Retired Olympian Bruce Jenner has reached out to the victims of a devastating car crash in California on Saturday (07Feb15), and insisted he will "continue to co-operate" in the ongoing investigation.

Kim Kardashian's stepfather was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California when his Escalade collided with other vehicles which had crashed on the road.

Jenner was unharmed, but one elderly woman died in the four-car pile-up, and seven other people suffered injuries.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has now spoken out for the first time since the incident, and revealed he is praying for the other victims and their families.

A statement from Jenner reads, "My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident.

"It is a devastating tragedy, and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to co-operate in every way possible."
