WORLD OF TWIST frontman TONY OGDEN has died of as yet unknown causes. He was 44. The troubled singer-turned-drummer took the Manchester, England, music scene by storm during the 1990s, working with late Buzzcocks producer MARTIN HANNETT on hits including THE STORM. But Ogden suffered from burn-out after the band's short heyday, retreating to his family home in Stockport, northern England, where he reportedly remained until his death. He was working on demos for new band THE BUBBLEGUM SECRET POP EXPLOSION just before he passed away.
