LATEST: Rapper Busta Rhymes has been slammed by the police commissioner investigating the murder of his bodyguard for withholding valuable information relating to the shooting.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday (15FEB06), Commissioner Raymond Kelly urged the Break Ya Neck hitmaker, whose minder ISRAEL RAMIREZ was fatally wounded outside a Brooklyn, New York City, warehouse two weeks ago (05FEB06), to cooperate with the police department.

He said, "Ramirez worked for him. I'd think he'd be knocking on the door.

"If your employee's murdered in front of you, you think you might want to talk to the police."

Kelly also maintained the rapper and other witnesses who fail to come forward could be called in front of a grand jury.

He added, "I find it quite disturbing. This individual was shot in front of a lot of people."

The late bodyguard's sister Sonia Rodriguez has already condemned the wall of silence: "We are infuriated. They are low-life scum and they should be men and stand up and do the right thing."
