Bryan Ferry's son OTIS made a brief appearance in court today (20OCT06) to be sentenced after pleading guilty to drink-driving charges in August (06), only to have his case adjourned. The 23-year-old, who has gained notoriety as a protester against the ban on fox hunting in Britain, was pulled over by police last year (OCT05) while driving friends home after a night out clubbing. A breath test showed him to be substantially over the UK drink-driving limit. Ferry initially pleaded innocent to the charges, but in August (06) changed his plea midway through a hearing. He confirmed his guilty plea again at Gloucester Magistrates' Court today. Sentencing will take place at a date to be fixed by District Judge SHAMIM QURESHI.
