Bruce Springsteen is re-teaming with documentary director Thom Zimny for a new behind-the-scenes film about the making of the rocker's most recent record, High Hopes.
Earlier this year (Jan14), the music icon proved he hasn't lost his star power when his 18th studio album debuted at number one in 20 countries.
Prior to its release, Springsteen teamed up with his old pal Zimny for the fourth time, allowing cameras to follow the singer during his studio sessions and rehearsals.
Zimny also sits down with Springsteen for an in-depth interview, and the director talks to the rocker's High Hopes collaborator, Rage Against the MAChine guitarist Tom Morello.
Zimny previously directed 2010 documentary The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town, 2011's Bruce Springsteen: A Conversation With His Fans and Wings for Wheels: The Making of Born to Run in 2005.
High Hopes will air on America's HBO network on 4 April (14), just days before Springsteen and his E Street band are set to receive the Award for Musical Excellence at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Brooklyn, New York on 10 April (14).
