Brooke Mueller says her ex-husband Charlie Sheen was physically violent towards her during their tumultuous marriage.
Brooke Mueller, the American real-estate investor who has been granted a restraining order against Charlie Sheen, says the 'Two and a Half Men' actor 'knocked her to the floor', leaving her unconscious, reports People Magazine. In a sworn statement filed yesterday in a Los Angeles court, Mueller said Sheen was violent towards her before their infamous Christmas Day bust-up in 2009. The statement reads, "In October 2009, (Sheen) knocked me to the floor causing me to hit my head on the corner of a couch. I was knocked unconscious and required medical attention, including a Cat scan". The 33-year-old notes that she has photos of her injuries as well as two witnesses and a written apology from Sheen himself. People Magazine say they asked the actor to respond to the claims and received a text message reply that simply read, 'Lies'. Mueller, who has twins Bob and Max with Sheen, also alleges that the troubled actor told her "I should have killed you when I had the chance".
Brooke Mueller says that she had struggled with her own "sobriety issues" over the past year or so, but added, "(Sheen) has not supported my recovery and rehabilitation in any way. He mocks my recovery efforts".
