Britney Spears is set to tour Australia for the first time in her career - she's announced plans to take her worldwide CIRCUS tour Down Under in November (09).
The pop star, who cracked the whip on the world tour in March (09), will take the stage for her first series of shows on 6 November (09) in Perth.
She'll travel with an entourage of 50 dancers, magicians, clowns and acrobats and 60 tons of equipment in 34 trucks for an additional six shows she'll play in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The tour was initially scheduled to end in Manchester, England on 17 June (09) before attorneys for the pop singer and Spears' father and conservator, Jamie, won court approval to include additional dates in Europe and Australia.
It is unknown when the judge approved the extension of her Circus tour but reports indicate Jamie has been allowed to bring Spears' young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James for the three-week trek.
A statement on Spears' website reads: "I've wanted to tour Australia for quite some time, and now it's finally happening. My Circus tour is the best show I have ever created, and I can't wait to perform it for all of my Australian fans. See you guys soon!"
