A sculpture of Britney Spears giving birth has been attacked by pro and anti-abortion campaigners a week before it is due to go on display in New York City. The artwork, called Monument To Pro-Life: The Birth Of Sean Preston, shows the singer on all fours gripping a bearskin rug, next to several anti-abortion materials. It is due to go on display at Brooklyn's Capla Kesting Fine Art gallery for two weeks from 7 April (06). Artist DANIEL EDWARDS intended the piece as a tribute to the pro-life movement. But Gallery owner DAVID KESTING has been inundated with complaints from all sides. He says, "We also got calls from Tokyo, England, France. "Some people are upset that Britney is being used for this subject matter. Others who are pro-life thought this was degrading to their movement. And some pro-choice people were upset that this is a pro-life monument."
