A heavily pregnant Britney Spears stunned fans at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles yesterday (20AUG06) when she took to the stage to introduce husband Kevin Federline's first live performance. Spears, who is expecting her second child next month (SEP06), appeared briefly, sporting her new brunette look and spilling out of a babydoll-style pink mini-dress. Explaining to the audience that the Teen Choice Awards have been good to her in the past, she hoped they'd serve her husband well as he closed the show with a performance of his new single LOSE CONTROL. Proud Spears said, "Please give a big welcome to my man, Kevin Federline." But Federline had lost out on his nomination at the Male Red Carpet Fashion Icon ceremony - that accolade went to Nick Lachey, who also picked up top Love Song for WHAT'S LEFT OF ME. The biggest star of the night was Johnny Depp, who made a shock appearance to pick up a haul of seven awards for Pirates Of The Caribbean: DEAD MAN'S CHEST. Teenage fans were so thrilled to see the movie star they drowned out his acceptance speech. The villain of the night was comedian/actor DANE COOK, who seemed to forget he was co-hosting a teen awards show. Watchdogs at TV network Fox, which aired the live show, were forced to cut to stock footage when Cook started fondling a bikini-clad modelling mannequin, pretending it was actress Jessica Alba. He later joked that two teen award presenters would be pregnant before end of the show. A concerned parent who attended the awards show says, "He was totally inappropriate. It was the Teen Choice Awards, not the Dane Cook show."
