Britney Spears won't have to worry about losing her fortune in the casinos of Las Vegas during her upcoming residency as the pop star hates gambling.
The Toxic hitmaker will bank a reported $30 million (£20 million) for her Britney: Piece of Me shows, but she is adamant fans won't see her sinking her cash into slot machines while she's living in Sin City during the two-year stint.
She tells E! News, "I'm not a gambling girl. My boyfriend's like, 'You can put the money on the table. You can do this! You can bet this.' I'm like, 'I don't want to!' (I'd rather) buy a pair of $15,000 shoes... I don't drink, I don't have a margarita, but I go shopping. I like to... just indulge a little bit, shoes, face care creams, all the girly stuff."
Spears kicks off her concerts on 27 December (13) at the Planet Hollywood resort, and the singer admits she is excited to make Las Vegas her "second home".
She adds, "It seemed like the ideal job to me because when I'm on tour I'm in a different bed every night. It's so gruelling flying to a different place all the time. It felt ideal to be set in one place. It'll be my second home."
