Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib will stand trial for allegedly hitting a process server with his car.
Paparazzo Ghalib is accused of running over Ram Moskowitz as he attempted to serve the Brit with a restraining order on behalf of Spears in February (09).
He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, battery and hit and run after the incident in California, and now a judge has ruled there is enough evidence to take the case to trial.
During an appearance in a Van Nuys Courthouse on Monday (04May09), a judge ordered Ghalib to return for a preliminary hearing on 18 May (09) to set a trial date.
The judge also used the hearing to grant a temporary restraining order, filed by Moskowitz, against Ghalib, reports TMZ.com.
Spears - who romanced Ghalib back in 2007 - was recently granted her own restraining order against her ex, banning the snapper from going within 100 yards of her or her family members for the next three years.
