Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lutfi is a "predator" and a danger to the singer's wellbeing, according to her father.

On Monday, a Los Angeles judge extended a temporary restraining order which prevents Lutfi from contacting the Circus star following Jamie Spears' damning testimony.

"When [Lutfi] was in so-called control, she'd lost everything – her kids and career," Mr Spears told the hearing.

"I believe he's a predator, I believe he's very dangerous to her... and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief.

"We've asked him to go away before, and now he's coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone."

Britney's father controls her estate after a court granted him temporary conservatorship of her affairs when his daughter was hospitalised last year, with restraining orders against Lutfi and Britney's ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib following soon after.

According to Jamie Spears, his daughter's security team recently confiscated a cell phone which had been given to her at a hotel by a person who had been asked to deliver it by Lutfi and Ghalib.

He also alleged his daughter had received a series of threatening text messages from someone with the screen name 'citygalin310', whom he believes to be Lutfi.

Mr Spears told the court that before he took legal control of his daughter's estate, her life was "pretty well a disaster".

"She had nothing going on, just mostly [being] in the tabloids," he added.

Today she is "very stable, making her meetings, taking care of her babies, doing things she's supposed to do," he explained.
