Britney Spears is set to officially unveil Nicki Minaj as her new touring partner after signing a deal with the rapper last week (ends10Apr11), according to an online report.
The Toxic superstar has been on the hunt for another big name to share the bill with her when she hits the road this summer (11) after Spanish hunk Enrique Iglesias pulled out of the deal moments after Spears made the big announcement on U.S. TV. last month (Mar11).
Minaj recently confirmed to WENN she was in negotiations to join the pop icon on her upcoming trek, saying, "We're talking. I would love to, but I don't know yet. I can neither confirm or deny the rumours!"
But, according to Tmz.com, the two parties have now reached an agreement that will see the Moment 4 Life hitmaker open for Spears when she kicks off her live comeback in support of her new album Femme Fatale in Sacramento, California on 17 June (11).
And Spears is expected to confirm the news on Tuesday (12Apr11), when she releases the rest of her tour schedule.
In a post on Twitter.com on Monday (11Apr11), she writes, "I'm announcing the on sale date for my tour tomorrow and the Amazing Femme Fatale's (sic) who will be joining me on stage this summer."
The shows will be Spears' first full live gigs since her 2009 The Circus tour.
