Britney Spears has announced that she is to release a remix album next month (October 2011).

B in the Mix: The Remixes Vol. 2 will be available from October 2011 after the pop superstar tweeted the news "Exciting news tweeps... new remix album is coming out on 10/11! Pumped for you to hear these tracks - I love them." The album will include ten tracks from her previous albums that have been reworked including; Womanizer (Benny Benassi Extended), Circus (Linus Loves Remix) as well as Till the World Ends" (Alex Suarez Club Remix). The 29-year-old singer released the first edition of B in the Mix series in November 2005 which included collaborations with Justice and Junkie Xl.

Born in Mississippi, Spears began her showbiz career at a very early age and released her debut album Baby One More Time in 1999. She instantly achieved international fame and has since sold of 100 million records worldwide. She has since gone onto release a further six albums and has won multiple awards including fifteen Billboard Music Awards, six MTV Video Music awards as well as a Grammy award. She is also due to release her next single Criminal, which is featured on her album Femme Fatal. The video will also be filmed in England after a further announcement on the singer's twitter page "Decided to shoot the "Criminal" video in the streets of merry old England when I get there."
