One of Britney Spears' former dancers has followed through on her threat to sue the pop star to collect cash she was allegedly promised following an injury sustained during rehearsals for a video.
Dawn Noel claims she was diagnosed with nasal bone fractures and advised she would need surgery after the Toxic hitmaker "forcefully backhanded" her in the face while trying to learn the choreography for her Work B**ch video last summer (Aug13), and she has slapped the singer with a battery and negligence lawsuit.
In the papers, obtained by Eonline.com, the dancer claims Britney arrived at the rehearsal space "disheveled and confused", adding that although the choreography was "fairly basic", she had difficulty learning the dance moves, and "following simple directions".
Noel claims Spears' representatives and bosses agreed to pay her medical bills, but never did.
She has not listed specific monetary damages in the lawsuit, but she is suing for serious physical and severe emotional distress and anxiety.
