A representative for Britney Spears has moved to reassure fans the singer's upcoming tour is still on schedule, following reports the concerts have been postponed.
The Toxic hitmaker is set to kick off a mammoth trek in the U.S. in June (11) in support of her new album Femme Fatale, marking the singer's first full live shows since her 2009 The Circus tour.
A report emerged on Thursday (07Apr11) suggesting Spears is planning to push the opening night back to allow her more time to rehearse - but the singer's U.K. representative has moved quickly to quash the speculation.
The spokeswoman writes in a post on Twitter.com, "The story in (British newspaper) The Sun today isn't true - Britney's tour is Not being postponed!"
The tour is due to begin in Sacramento, California on 17 June (11).
