Britney Spears seems over the moon following her engagement to boyfriend Jason Trawick - and with good reason as it seems her former agent didn't spare any expense on the ring or the subsequent celebrations - if reports from fashion magazine Marie Claire and her own Twitter account are to be believed.
Allegedly Trawick, who still has an agency job despite ending his working relationship with Spears so that they could concentrate on their personal one, proposed to the pop star with a ring designed by the hugely respected Neil Lane. The 30 year-old was delighted, tweeting "Omg. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! So So So excited!!!! Xxo". The pair then jetted off to Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas to celebrate with their family and friends, Spears keeping her fans up to date on Twitter by gushing "Tonight was one of the most magical nights of my life. Such an amazing time with my new fiance and our closest friends and family. Blessed"
It's not always been so rosy for Spears in matters of the heart, with a 55 hour marriage to school friend Jason Alexander back in 2004 and another failed - though longer - one to Kevin Federline coming at the height of the star's mental problems which saw her commit herself to rehabilitation several times in 2007 and 2008; fingers crossed this time things'll go a little more swimmingly.
