Accompanied by a picture of the snake, she put out a request for information to her twitter followers, which read: ''Sometimes I wonder what this snake is up to these days ... Anybody know where it's at? haha (sic)''
After asking about the whereabouts of the showbiz snake Britney got some information about her slithery co-star, including her name.
Writing on the micro-blogging site, she revealed: ''Snake update: I've heard she's alive and well, and that her name is Banana! This makes me smile :) (sic)''
Britney danced while holding the snake for around a minute and her stage show for the awards ceremony was jungle-themed and included backing dancers dressed as wild animals and various caged creatures, including a female lion.
