Britney Spears has found herself at the centre of an air-brushing scandal after being accused of trying to "dupe" her fans.
Britney Spears, the American pop superstar who releases her new album 'Femme Fatale' today (29th March 2011), has come under fire after releasing a heavily airbrushed promotional image of herself, reports the UK's Daily Mail.The 29-year-old released the shot of herself wearing a black and white polka dot swimsuit and showing off a youthful glowing complexion. However, some fans have aired their concern, saying that the singer appears "pounds lighter" on the photograph then she did when performing live over the weekend. The star hasn't performed for over a year, but appeared in a number of revealing outfits when she took to the stage in San Francisco on Sunday (27th March 2011). The concert is set to be broadcast on Good Morning America today. Britney had a long history of doctoring her publicity images and last year she released 'before and after' shots following a fashion shoot for 'Candie's'.
Britney Spears releases her highly anticipated seventh studio album today (29th March 2011). 'Femme Fatale' has been produced by Dr Luke and Max Martin and looks certain to top the Billboard Chart come next week.
