Britney Spears' longtime back-up dancer and choreographer Andre Fuentes has died, aged 40.
The dance guru behind the pop star's moves in the Womanizer and Circus videos passed away Tuesday night (31May16), just weeks after attending pal Prince's memorial in Minnesota.
His cause of death has not been made public.
Andre worked with Spears since her ...Baby One More Time Tour in 1999, and over the course of their 17 years together, he appeared in her videos such as Sometimes, I'm A Slave 4 U, and Crazy, and also acted as the contributing choreographer on her Circus Tour.
He also worked on the films The Birdcage and The Longest Yard, Britney's 2001 concert movie Britney Spears Live from Las Vegas, and her 2008 documentary For the Record, in which the pop star gushed about her longtime friend.
"He's just amazing," Britney said. "He gets it. He gets me. And he knows how to make a woman look good. He gets my body. He knows my body. He knows what makes me look great, and that's why I like him."
Andre also choreographed Prince's music video The Greatest Romance That's Ever Been Sold, and worked with Beyonce, No Doubt and Brandy, among others.
