Pop beauty Britney Spears has found a new ally as she tries to reignite her music career - an unknown songwriter has crafted a tune about her.
The TOXIC singer was overwhelmed when her choreographer Brian Friedman got a copy of ROCK ME BRITNEY by Los Angeles based singer JOHNNIE MAZZER and immediately got in touch with the musician.
Mazzer's tribute to his musical idol includes the lines, "Some say she's over, some say she's done . . . but baby, baby, baby, she's only just begun!"
And according to American website PAGE SIX, the pair are now firm friends - with Mazzer on the guestlist for one of Britney's upcoming ONYX HOTEL TOUR shows - much to the surprise of the hunky singer.
He says of her spontaneous phone call, "I was driving in L.A. and almost wrecked the car when I picked up the phone."08/03/2004 17:09
