Britney Spears has reportedly decided that the press are her only friends and has asked a paparazzo for a date.
The Toxic star allegedly broke up with British photographer Adnan Ghalib at the weekend and issued a swift restraining order against him.
But after being single for only a matter of days, the singer has reportedly asked for the phone number of Felipe Teixeira, another member of the paparazzi.
Teixeira was one of four snappers arrested on a charge of reckless driving last week, after chasing Britney's car in Los Angeles.
However his arrest has not deterred the 26-year-old who asked photographers: "Do you have Felipe's number?"
She added: "It's been a long time since I had fun - I love you men."
Spears' ex, Birmingham-born Ghalib, is alleged to be negotiating deals with a number of entertainment outlets for rights to photographs of text messages he received from Britney.
The 35-year-old is also thought to be planning a tell-all interview about his relationship with Spears.
However it has been reported today that Britney works in tandem with the paparazzi to coordinate photo opportunities.
Photographer Alison Silva told Paul Barresi of the New York Post: "Britney is in on it. She calls the paparazzi before she goes out. We know 15 minutes before she leaves the house. It's all staged."
She added that following the address of the four photographers, one said: "Britney sent him a text message and said she was sorry. She tried to talk the cops into not arresting them."
