Sexy singer Britney Spears has found a useful way of relieving studio boredom - she's learning to play the piano.
The pop princess showed off her new skills when MTV visited her in the studio last week (ends30MAY03), playing a classic-style piece she had composed herself.
She explained, "Sometimes when I get kind of bored, I play the piano. There's a piano in the hotel room as well, so I was really excited.
"I don't know what C is or, like, all that, but I do my own thing."
Britney is also fighting off reports that one of the songs on her as-yet-untitled new album is a response track to ex-boyfriend JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE's CRY ME A RIVER, said to be a scathing attack on her.
She says, "I read that I wrote this song and I wrote these lyrics, and that's not my style. I would never do that."02/06/2003 09:29
