Bristol Palin, the 20-year-old finalist of Dancing With The Stars, has angered dance professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy by stating in an interview that the 30-year-old doesn't like her, reports the New York Daily News. Chmerkovskiy and his partner Brandy were surprisingly eliminated from the competition on Tuesday (16th November 2010).
Speaking to E! Online about Palin, the professional dancer said, "On Monday night, I found out that she went on record saying that I said something about her along the lines of, 'I don't like her because she's still here and she's not a good enough dancer". Chmerkovskiy added that he had shown nothing but support towards Palin and went on to say, "For her to come out on Monday night and totally smear my name the way she did, that's just completely uncalled for. I have no idea where she got it from, but wherever she got it from, shame on her". The dancer was referring to comments Palin made to In Touch Weekly magazine, in which she said, "Maks does not like me. He thinks I don't deserve to be here because I'm not the best dancer".
It has been suggested that Palin may be getting votes from supporters of America's right wing political parties, and Chmerkovskiy said he thought the voting system was 'flawed' because his friends in Philadelphia were unable to get through on phone lines.
