Bristol Palin represents the best of Dancing With The Stars according to the show's host TOM BERGERON. Speaking to TV Guide, the 55-year-old suggested that the daughter of Republican politician Sarah Palin, is the best thing about the hit ABC dance contest and deserves credit for her efforts.
When asked about reports of politically motivated voting, Bergeron said he was unsure whether Palin's path to the final has been down to supporters of America's right-wing parties, but suggested that the 20-year-old should be praised for her progress, saying, "She's not the strongest dancer, obviously. But she... represents what I think is the best of our show - somebody who comes Day One and is completely out of their element and has shown a clear growth as a dancer", before adding, "She clearly has a massive or sufficient amount of viewer support to keep her in despite low scores"
Speaking about his thoughts on this year's 'most shocking moment', Bergeron alluded to David Hasselhoff's exit from the show. The 58-year-old was the first celebrity to be eliminated, and the host said, "That was the most shocking moment for me. I have no idea what happened there. I was like, 'What the hell?' I figured we had at least four good weeks of comedy coming and boom! He's gone!".
