Bristol Palin, the 20-year-old daughter of Republican politician Sarah Palin, came out all guns blazing on Dancing With The Stars last night(15th November 2010), recording her best score of the series so far. Palin is up against actress Jennifer Grey, singer Brandy, and actor Kyle Massey going into tonight's results show.
Despite being favourites to be eliminated before next week's final, Palin and partner Mark Ballas delivered a solid paso-doble routine which scored a trio of 9's. E! Online described the routine as "fiery" and "exciting from the first second", and judge Len Goodman said, "Your best dance, fabulous". Palin received equally positive comments for her second routine, the waltz. Goodman and BRUNO TONIOLO commented on how the dance had a 'haunting' quality to it, and Palin received a total of 26.
However, it was once again 50-year-old Dirty Dancing star Grey who stole the show. She and partner Derek Hough scored two perfect 30's for their cha-cha-cha and waltz routines. It is expected that both Grey and BRANDY will make it through to next week's final, leaving Palin and Massey fighting it out to join them.
