Pop heart-throb Brian McFadden has rushed a song onto his debut solo album IRISH SON which apologises to his children for the break up of his marriage.

However, the former WESTLIFE star actually wrote the track SORRY, LOVE DADDY with songwriting partner Guy Chambers long before his split with wife KERRY was announced last month (SEP04).

McFadden sings to daughters MOLLY and LILLY-SUE, "Unforeseen misery is coming between your mummy and me. We can love you more now we're apart." Sorry, Love Daddy replaces the song AUF WIEDERSEHEN BITCH.

A friend says, "Brian makes no bones about it. He's using the song to apologise to his kids for any pain caused and explain to them that both he and Kerry still love them very much."
