Irish singer Brian McFadden has stepped up a war-of-words with his ex-wife Kerry Katona by labelling their marriage "shambolic" in a rant on Twitter.com.
The former Westlife star divorced Katona, the mother of his two daughters, in 2006 after four years of marriage, and he wed his second wife, model Vogue Williams, earlier this month (Sep12).
However, his honeymoon period has been overshadowed by a dispute with his former partner after he talked about his first marriage in an interview to accompany the wedding coverage, telling Hello! magazine, "I was 18 or 19 when I got married the first time. I was in Westlife. I had no idea what I was doing. It wasn't till I was 30 that I turned into an adult."
The comment infuriated Katona, who hit back in a series of posts on Twitter: "I will never let anyone take away my first marriage not even my ex-husband! We may have been young but I knew full well what I was doing!!! And never in a million years would I ever dismiss it, especially bringing two amazing children into it."
MCFadden has now fuelled the feud by hitting back at his ex-wife on his own Twitter.com page, writing, "Some people just can't let go of the past. Even if it destroys the future... I love my kids but there (they are) the best thing in my life that came from that shambolic relationship. Now please f**k off and let me and my wife enjoy our life. With my two girls. And to everyone else. Mind your own business. I'm sick of every time in my life I'm happy some p**ck tries to destroy me."
