DEANNA FAVRE, the wife of American Football star Brett Favre, refused to deny the 'explicit text' allegations made against her husband when she appeared on 'Good Morning America' yesterday (October 21st 2010). The Minnesota Vikings quarterback, commonly regarded as one of the greats of the game, is at the centre of a 'text scandal' after he reportedly sent lewd messages to a former pitch side reporter.
Deanna had appeared on the show to promote her new book, 'The Cure for the Chronic Life: Overcoming the Hopelessness That Hold You Back', however, the conversation was quickly steered towards her husband, who is alleged to have sent explicit images to JENN STERGER in 2008. Deanna said, "I'm a woman of faith, and faith has gotten me through many difficult struggles. It will get me through this one". However, she refused to confirm whether the allegations against her husband were true.
According to ABC, Deanna had agreed to the interview before Brett became embroiled in the scandal. It is reported that she did not want to cancel the appearance because her current marital struggle was a central theme in the new book.
