BRET MICHAELS, the former Poison frontman, is set to rock the Sun Life Stadium tonight (4th October 2010) as he performs a live set at the Miami Dolphins game. Last month, it was reported that the 47-year-old rocker was set to undergo surgery to fix a 'hole in the heart', and Michaels' has suffered from a number of health problems in recent years, however, he is still keen to perform.
In 2009, Michaels was rushed to hospital for an emergency appendectomy and just a few months later doctors discovered that he had suffered from a brain haemorrhage. But despite his upcoming surgery, which is expected to take place in January 2011, the singer is performing a number of gigs in the coming months. Tonight, he'll take to the stage at 7.30pm to play songs such as 'Your Mama Don't Dance', and 'Every Rose Had Its Thorn' for the audience at the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots game.
Michaels has a busy few months in store, as well as the live shows, his VH1 reality show 'Life As I Know It' begins on October 18th, and his new book 'Roses and Thorns' is set to be published on Match 15th 2011.
