BRET MICHAELS, the American rocker and Poison frontman, is working with 'PetSmart' to launch his own brand of rock and roll inspired pet products. Michaels, a former winner of 'Celebrity Apprentice', will launch 'Bret Michaels Pets Rock' next summer, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Announcing the strange collaboration, Bret explained, "As a dedicated pet owner myself, this is a natural partnership for me, and I can't wait to unveil the collection.I know my own pets rock, and I wanted to design a line of pet products every bit as fun and cool as they are". The line of products follow Martha Stewart's collection of pet wear for the company in 2010. Matt MCAdam, vice president of merchandising for the brand, claimed the 'Pets Rock' collection will continue to meet the demands of animal lovers who require a "cool" line of products, adding, "Our pet parents have told us they want unique, high-quality products for their pets that are also fun and reflective of their personalities". The company say they became inspired to work with Michaels after his successful partnership with the American Diabetes Association, through which he has donated and raised considerable awareness.
Although the specifics are yet to be revealed, the singer's 'Pets Rock' collection will include dog beds, clothing, bowls, feeders, collars and leashes.
