The oil heir and childhood friend of Paris Hilton was arrested and booked in October (15) after crashing his Mercedes-Benz in Los Angeles and subsequently failing a blood alcohol test.

He faced six months behind bars after he was officially charged with DUI in December (15), but he has struck a deal and pleaded no contest to the charge.

In the plea deal, he must take an alcohol treatment program for six months and undertake 10 days community service. He will also be on probation for three years, according to

Davis, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, previously escaped jail by taking a plea deal in 2011 for charges of cocaine possession and battery. He had to undergo a drug diversion programme.
