Former The Brady Bunch star Susan Olsen has been fired from a radio show after posting a gay slur on social media.
The 55-year-old, who played Cindy Brady on the TV series, spoke with openly gay actor Leon Acord-Whiting last week (ends11Dec16) on her LA Talk Radio show Two Chicks Talkin' Politics, which she co-hosted with Sheena Metal.
After the show, he wrote on Facebook she should be given her "walking papers" for spreading "outrageous misinformation" and "idiotic lies unchecked" and called LA Talk Radio bosses "wildly irresponsible" for giving a "dangerous and unprofessional" Trump supporter a public platform.
She responded on Facebook by calling him a "little piece of human waste" who blocked her so she couldn't blast him on his page. However, Acord-Whiting shared a screenshot of an expletive-filled message Olsen allegedly wrote him privately.
It read, "Hey there little p**sy, let me get my big boy pants on and Reallly (sic) take you on!!! What a snake in the grass you are you lying piece of s**t too cowardly to confront me in real life so you do it on Facebook. You are the biggest f**got a*s in the world the biggest p**sy! My D**k is bigger than yours... Which ain't sayin much! What a true piece of s**t you are! Lying f**got! I hope you meet your karma SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY."
Representatives for LA Talk Radio announced they had "severed our ties" with Olsen over the incident as they will not "tolerate hate speech" from anybody associated with the station.
