The theatre bosses behind Bradley Cooper's The Elephant Man stage show are working on a plan to take the hit production to the London stage.

The American Hustle star will end his highly-successful run on the Broadway stage on 22 February (15), but producers have suggested he may extend his role as John Merrick in London.

And now Cooper tells U.S. late night host Jimmy Fallon, "I think we're going to take it to London, we're going to bring it back home for the summer for 12 weeks. We're working on it now, but I think it's going to work out. We're going to take the whole company too."

Cooper has spoken about his desire to perform on the London stage in the past, telling the Bbc in 2012, "I would love to do something in the West End, that would be kind of incredible, live in London for five months or something."
