U2 star Bono has handed a little known crooner an early Christmas gift - the chance to record a song he wrote for Frank Sinatra.

Bono, who recorded with Sinatra on OL' BLUE EYES' DUETS album, wrote TWO SHOTS OF HAPPY, ONE SHOT OF SAD for his hero, but the legend didn't get around to recording the tune before he died.

And now Bono has given his blessing for jazz singer GEORGE BUGATTI to record the song for his new album A NIGHT FOR ROMANCE.

Bugatti says, "I have a Sinatra vibe in my music."
