Trudeau and Bono's night out came after Canada's leader had taken in a Broadway show alongside Ivanka Trump.

The politician and U.S. President Donald Trump's daughter went to see Come from Away, a musical about how a Canadian community came together to help passengers left stranded after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Trudeau isn't the only political power broker the 56-year-old musician has met this month (Mar17), as Bono also enjoyed a dinner date with the Obamas.

According to People.com, the rock superstar, former U.S. President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle went for a meal together at Manhattan's trendy Upland restaurant.

Bono will return to touring with U2 in May (17), when the Irish rockers head off on a global trek celebrating the 30th anniversary of their iconic album The Joshua Tree.
