U2 frontman Bono has donated a guitar to Brazil's Zero Hunger Campaign.

The VERTIGO star met with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da SILVA on Sunday (19FEB06), to discuss making poverty history.

The coveted instrument will be auctioned off after the Irish group's concert at Sao Paolo's Morumbi stadium - with profits going to help ensure all Brazilians have three meals everyday.

US rocker Lenny Kravitz donated a guitar to the campaign last year (05), raising $132,000 (GBP73,000).
