Hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are set for a full reunion this weekend (23-24Jul11) - just three months after Krayzie Bone quit the band.
The Tha Crossroads hitmakers formed in 1991 as a five-piece, but the veteran rappers were reduced to a trio earlier this year (11) when both Wish Bone and Krayzie Bone walked out of the group to pursue solo endeavours.
The split hasn't lasted long, however - Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone and Flesh-n-Bone will get together once more to perform at a homecoming gig in Ohio on Saturday (23Jul11) to celebrate the state of Cleveland's 215th birthday.
Bizzy Bone tells MTV News, "They (people of Cleveland) ain't (sic) seen us, all five, since Flesh came out (of prison in 2008). We ain't (sic) been able to really put on a showcase for 'em, and this is a beautiful platform. It's gonna be thousands and thousands and thousands of people there, and it's Cleveland's birthday."
Although it is unclear if the reunion is for good, Wish Bone insists the five pals will always get back together for a good cause.
He says, "We're not just band members that were put together; we're real family. It's a shame that sometimes we go through things like anybody else but, by us being in the public eye, it gets magnified about a million times. It makes it worse than it really is, but that's part of the game...
"No matter what, we're going to come together for something that's very important to us."
