Rockers Bon Jovi are to take a two-year hiatus when the band wraps up its current world tour, so their fans will "appreciate" them more when they return.
The group is currently performing a string of dates across the globe as part of The Circle tour, which was the highest-earning trek of 2010.
Bon Jovi's final show is set for 31 July (11) in Lisbon, Portugal - and the musicians are adamant it will be their last for some time.
Drummer Tico Torres tells Rolling Stone, "Sometimes you need to get away so people can appreciate you better. The best thing I can tell you is we're gonna need a couple of years off for sure."
Frontman Jon Bon Jovi recently revealed he is reigniting his movie career by signing up for a role in Valentine's Day follow-up New Year's Eve.
