Charitable rocker Bon Jovi has deliberately invested in a minor league American football team so he can give away their profits and call himself ROBIN HOOD.
The LIVIN' ON A PRAYER hitmaker loves combining his fame and the efforts of the team to take money from rich companies, in order to support smaller ones.
He says, "The team is a bad investment, but I'm passionate about it.
"Before we played a game or sold a ticket we found small charities in the neighbourhood we could support.
"In two years we gave away $500,000 (GBP280,000).
"It's given me great joy because I play Robin Hood, I steal from these corporations by saying, 'I'm happy to have you take my picture, but give me your money!' And then I give it away to charity."
