Bon Jovi, the multi-award winning American rock band, have announced a huge 2011 world tour that will see the band playing shows in Japan, New Zealand and Australia, as well as in the US, UK, and throughout Europe. Fans of the band in the US are readying themselves this morning (11th November 2010) as tickets for big shows in Las Vegas and Chicago go on sale. The tour is set to kick off in North America in February 2011 and will coincide with the recent release of the group's 'Greatest Hits' record.
A statement on the band's official website said that the new album will "transport listeners back in time through the band's worldwide monster hits, and offer a bridge to the future with the debut of four brand new tracks". New songs on the record include 'What Do You Got?', 'The More Things Change', 'No Apologies' and 'This Is Love, This Is Life'. The band performed on the 'Tonight Show with David Letterman' on Monday (November 9th 2010) and will now go on to play at the American Music Awards (21st November 2010) and on the 'Ellen Show' (November 23rd 2010), before hitting the road in early 2011.
BON JOVI have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, performing over 2,600 concerts in 50 different countries to 34 million fans.
