Bobby Brown's newly-reformed band New Edition was left scrambling to get ready for a gig in New York on Wednesday (06Jul11) after their stylist's flight was diverted.
The group was due to take the stage at a birthday party for DJ Cassidy on the Uss Intrepid, but they were thrown into a panic when they heard stylist Scott Julion had suffered a travel nightmare after his flight from New Orleans, Louisiana was diverted to Baltimore, Maryland.
He eventually made it to the venue in time for the gig, and the band was forced to leave its preparations to the very last minute. A representative for New Edition tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "He made it in time for the gig, and the band got dressed as fast as they could."
The rep also dismissed rumours Brown got himself into trouble by pulling a waitress' hair at the party, adding, "It wasn't anything detrimental or anything. He did it in a playful way and it was fine. It was a misunderstanding. Everything was fine; no one had any issues."
