R+B star Bobby Brown is heading back on the road with his old boy band NEW EDITION - for his hit reality show BEING BOBBY BROWN.
The new show, which also features Brown's wife Whitney Houston, debuted in America with an impressive audience last week (30JUN05) and now Brown is planning ahead for a second series.
He can't wait to get back on the road with his fellow CANDY GIRL hitmakers because it will make for great TV.
Brown says, "I'm going on tour with New Edition hopefully this fall (05). I'm looking forward to that because I love performing and the fights."
Brown quit the group midway through the 1997 HOME AGAIN tour after a bust-up with his bandmates, during which guns were pulled backstage at a show.
But Brown insists he's ready to join his former bandmates again, insisting this time he won't be high.
He says, "I was really high on that tour. Never high on stage, but on that tour I was really intoxicated in a lot of different ways."
Busy Brown, who is also hoping to form his own band with his nephews, admits he loves being a reality TV star: "I love it. It gives me a chance to be me, finally. With this season, we did six months and I'm looking forward to doing another six months. It was fun. And they're paying me a lot. It's a good deal."08/07/2005 11:55
