Singer Bobby Brown is winning his battle against his addiction issues as he receives treatment in a rehabilitation clinic, according to his lawyer.
The My Prerogative hitmaker checked into a medical centre earlier this month (Aug12) amid reports he is suffering from a drink problem.
Brown, who has daughter Bobbi Kristina with his late ex-wife Whitney Houston, is determined to win his health battle and conquer his longrunning demons, according to a statement issued by his lawyer.
The statement, provided to U.S. magazine Us Weekly, reads, "Mr. Brown takes his agreement very seriously. Bobby is doing well..."
The singer's wife Alicia Etheridge, who wed the star in June (12), adds, "Bobby's children and loved ones are very proud of him. We appreciate his fans' prayers and well wishes. Bobby is mentally in a good place."
