The 22 year old, the only child of Brown and his late ex-wife Whitney Houston, has been fighting for her life since she was found face down and unconscious in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home at the end of January (15).

Her father filed legal papers seeking to be placed in charge of Bobbi Kristina's estate last month (Apr15), and on Thursday (07May15), the case was heard in court.

It has since been revealed that Brown has agreed to share guardianship with Whitney's manager, Pat Houston, according to UsMagazine.com.

A joint statement released by lawyers for both parties reads: "We are delighted to inform the public that the court has appointed Bobby Brown and Pat Houston as co-guardians of Bobbi Kristina Brown. Both Mr. Brown and Ms. Houston are jointly responsible for decisions related to Krissi's care and medical needs."

The judge has also appointed attorney Bedelia Hargrove to serve as the conservator for the aspiring actress.

The statement continues, "Ms. Hargrove is responsible for Krissi's assets, including her likeness, rights and legal claims...

"Both parties are delighted with the court's decision and are working harmoniously to ensure Krissi receives the best possible medical care. We are appreciative of the manner in which Judge Jeryl Debra Rosh handled this matter."

Bobbi Kristina is currently receiving treatment at the DeKalb Medical Center, a longterm rehabilitation facility, following her recent move from Atlanta's Emory University Hospital.

Her maternal grandmother, gospel icon Cissy Houston, previously admitted the youngster is still unresponsive and has suffered irreversible brain damage.
