Bobbi Kristina, the 18-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is struggling to cope following the death of her mother. It was reported that Bobbi went missing following Houston's funeral in Newark, New Jersey, last week - and insiders say her problems are beginning to spiral out of control, reports US Weekly magazine.
Multiple sources say the aspiring singer - who has watched as both parents struggled with substance abuse - has turned to drugs herself. Her loved ones, including maternal grandmother Cissy Houston and cousin Dionne Warwick are "gravely concerned" for Bobbi and some family members are urging to seek help in rehabilitation. One insider commented "Whitney's passing is sending Bobbi off the deep end", adding that her family is "shocked" by the scope of her issues. One source said "Bobbi's problems are out of control". Bobbi was allegedly the reason for Bobby Brown's abrupt exit from the funeral in New Jersey. The New Edition singer reportedly became angry after he was unable to sit near his daughter - he subsequently left and later performed with his band.
Following the near four-hour long funeral, Bobbi Kristina went missing and was found in a hotel "getting high", according to a source who spoke with the Daily Beast. A close family friend said, "It's a horrible situation for everyone. They tried to save Whitney, and it didn't work. Now with Bobbi Kristina, they fear the same thing is happening again and won't be able to stop it either".
