A Woman Who Posed As Bobbi Kristina Brown's Hospice Nurse Has Been Charged With Forgery And Theft By Deception Following Her Arrest In Georgia.
Taiwo Sobamowo had been among those taking care of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's only child in the days leading up to the 22 year old's July (15) death at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, but she was subsequently exposed as a fraud.
Sobamowo was taken into custody in Raleigh, North Carolina last month (Nov15) and now she has been slapped with the criminal counts, in addition to a charge of practicing as a professional registered nurse without a license.
Sobamowo, who faces similar charges in Forsyth County and Duluth, remains behind bars, reports The Associated Press.
Following her arrest, she was also terminated from her employment with Homestead Hospice and Palliative Care, which provides staff for Peachtree and other medical facilities, and was reported to state nursing officials.
Brown's care is not thought to have been affected by Sobamowo's hospice presence.
The aspiring singer/actress was hospitalised in January (15) after was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home. She never woke up from her medically-induced coma and died on 26 July (15).
