Officers are further investigating what happened to Bobbi Kristina Brown because she had injuries to her face which were sustained before she was discovered lifeless in her bathtub.
Bobbi Kristina Brown reportedly suffered facial injuries before she was found lifeless in her bathtub.
The 21-year-old aspiring actress - the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown - was found lifeless in her Atlanta home late last month and police are said to be stepping up an investigation as to what happened to her after seeing a number of marks around her mouth, sources told WSB-TV.
It was previously claimed police have been looking into a possible altercation between Bobbi and her boyfriend Nick Gordon which took place over an hour before their friend Max Lomas discovered the unconscious starlet, who is currently fighting for her life in hospital.
Max is believed to have told police Nick was acting strangely, but has requested immunity before agreeing to speak with officers again.
The two men had begun searching for Bobbi after a cable technician visited the house and couldn't find her.
Max's attorney, Ashleigh Merchant, explained: ''Nick was actually the one who answered the door for the cable man, and he was showing the cable man around.
''[Max] says that he knocked on her door and he didn't get an answer, so he went in and checked on her to see how she was doing.
''He's actually the one that found her, and he called for Nick, screamed for Nick, and then he immediately called 911.
''It seems like it might've been 10 or 15 minutes that she must have been alone... but we don't know at what point she actually ended up in the tub during that time.''
