Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of Whitney Houston and her former husband Bobby Brown, appears to be caught in the middle of a family feud concerning whether, her father should be allowed to attend Whitney's funeral on Saturday (February 18, 2012).

According to, Bobby is "extremely disappointed" after hearing he is unwelcome at the funeral. Sources close to the singer said people connected to the Houston family have warned him he shouldn't attempt to travel to the New Jersey ceremony on Saturday because "the family isn't fond of him". However, the New Edition singer is yet to receive any "official" word from the family about his invite status and fully intends to join mourners at the funeral. A source close to Bobby has told ABC News there is no tension between him and the rest of the family, and that he will be making the trip to the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. The potential feud will be an added worry for Whitney and Bobby's daughter Bobbi Kristina, who is recovering after being hospitalized upon hearing of her mother's death. In a written statement concerning the welfare of his daughter, Bobby said, "We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother's death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye.I ask again that our privacy be respected".

The couple divorced in 2007 after a tumultuous 15 year relationship that involved bouts of drug abuse and domestic violence.
