US news anchor BOB WOODRUFF will return to TV in February (07) for the first time since the bomb attack that nearly killed him in Iraq in January 2006. The former ABC World News anchor will tell the story of his year-long ordeal through interviews with the ABC news team that was with him at the time of the blast, other soldiers on the fateful patrol and the medical team that saved his life. Woodruff will return to Bethesda Naval Hospital for the first time since his six-week stay there to visit the staff that helped him recover from severe head, neck and torso wounds. TO IRAQ AND BACK: BOB WOODRUFF REPORTS will air 27 February (07) in the US.
